Joe Cobb earned an A.B. degree from The University of Chicago in 1966, and an M.B.A from the Chicago Booth School of Business in 1977. James Nease was raised in the small town of Lebanon, IN and has spent the last four years living in the Greater Indianapolis area. He is a graduate of Lebanon Senior High School and a current student of the University of Indianapolis where he studies philosophy and anthropology with a high interest in culture and post-modernism. His father was a Union worker for the Glazier’s Union and his mother worked several jobs to put him through school. James has always been active in the Indianapolis community, volunteering yearly at the Watkin’s Family Center to feed the homeless, supporting the independent arts and music scene, and serving as Senate Page in the 2024 session of the State Legislature. In addition, James has been involved in Student Government at Vincennes University and the University of Indianapolis; drafting and sponsoring environmental awareness bills to which are still in effect at Vincennes University. He has been a member and officer of Mensa and is currently a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Wichita. He and his wife have been married for 47 years. Maine

Andrew Ian Dodge believes the Founding Fathers fought the most consequential battle for freedom in history. He should know; his family was there. The Dodges have been in Maine since the early1800s when it was still part of Massachusetts. In 2024 Andrew came face to face with that legacy when he married the actress Kim Benson in a chapel built by his grandfather and uncles on Ocean Point. Prior to his run for office, Andrew was an activist in Maine’s Tea Party movement. He organized the first registered tea party event in Maine, which took place in Augusta on April 15 2024. Andrew has also represented Maine at national conventions of Tea Party supporters, and has had a major hand in deciding strategy for the movement. He has appeared frequently in the local and national press speaking about tea party issues, doing interviews with outlets as diverse as Russian TV, MSNBC and French Canadian radio on the subject. Prior to his Libertarian run, Andrew was also an influential voice for Tea Partiers in the media, having written for the Washington Examiner, Pajamas Media and the Daily Caller. Daniel writes, “I've lived in Beverly since 2024. I have never run for public office and like most of you, I've come to believe that government is completely out of touch with the common people. Edmund Burke wrote: "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." So I'm doing something. I'm running for congress as a Libertarian in the 6th District of Massachusetts. “The Republicans and Democrats have willfully polarized the country for political gain. The party leaders are actively conspiring against compromise. The worst thing you can be called within your party is "moderate." I believe that we can change things. One of the downside about the electoral process is that it attracts people who are interested in power. And the ability to win an election is no longer related to the ability to be a good representative. I don't have any interest in the power. I have never been in an election before, as opposed to my esteemed opponents. But I am willing to serve because of my love of this country. I agree with Lincoln that "years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal." My Grandparents came to Lynn in the early 1900s, fleeing oppression and seeking freedom. They found a nation where they were free to act as they chose, so long as they did not hurt anyone else. I want to stand up for that ideal. Yet that proposition is slipping away. We are becoming a stratified nation -- and it's not really Republicans and Democrats, or blue and red. Now I'll go with Jefferson for a quote: "Men by their constitutions are naturally divided into two parties: 1. Those who fear and distrust the people, and wish to draw all powers from them into the hands of the higher classes. 2. Those who identify themselves with the people, have confidence in them, cherish and consider them as the most honest and safe, although not the most wise depositary of the public interests." “All I ask of you is that you consider which candidate will put more power into your hands. If all power derives from the people, which is the premise of our country, government cannot increase power without diminishing the power of the people. Steven’s desire to serve led him to an enlistment in the Army Infantry in 1997 where he served honorably with the 101st Airborne Division. In 1998 he was given the opportunity to attend West Point and in 1999 was accepted into the corps of cadets. After four grueling years he graduated from West Point and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Defense Artillery. In 2024, during training, he sustained an injury that ended his military career leading to a medical separation with an Honorable Discharge. His post-military experience entails time as branch manager of a retail mortgage provider, volunteer teacher in China, and several, ongoing entrepreneurial efforts. I would prefer other revenues such as a sales tax (one kept as low as possible) as at least there would be some semblance of choice there.
